Children of Avalon
Sil-Cul’hain is the northern outpost of the Gran Duchy of Evermorn, though it is separated from the cultural, financial, and military centers of the nation by the impassible Lichlands. As such, the strict social system that reigns in Ha’saïr is far less pronounced. Sil-Cul’hain outdates the major settlements of Evermorn—Evermorn Bay and Ha’saïr Fortress—by millennia, though it has been abandoned and reoccupied many times. The original purpose of its construction has long been lost to antiquity.
Wracked by storms that sweep down the flanks of San-Terack, Sil-Cul’hain is—in many ways—more remote and inhospitable even than Uruk. The stronghold is build on a spar of rocky land that reaches northward into the Strait of Gaulér, and forms a last refuge for ships traveling north to Uruk, although the dangers of landing on the beaten rocks of northern Leviathan generally prevent mariners from stopping at the remote outpost.
